Style Fashion Week LA

Style Fashion Week LA was magical! I was blessed with beautiful models, an audience full of good friends, family and fabulous media! Extra TV was there and covered the show http://extratv.com/2016/09/23/check-out-designer-nikki-lunds-l-a-runway-show-at-style-fashion-week/  My talented girlfriend, Courtney Sixx AKA “How 2 Girl” styled the runway show by bedazzling the beautiful Shelly’s London shoes (who so graciously sponsored my show) with jewels and flowers. Courtney also made gorgeous hair pieces, belts and chokers.

The show was Oct 14th 2016 and It was another packed house at the lovely Pacific Design Center. There was a full moon gleaming over the runway and the show was called “MÖNSTER PÅ MÅNEN” which is a swedish term for “Patterns On The Moon”.  (See photo below courtesy of Sandoval Media)

Thank You LA Fashion Magazine for putting one of my fav photos of the collection on the back cover of the October issue (see photo below: shot by Joe Simpson) and for supplying a copy of the magazine to each one of our seated guests.

The inspiration behind the line is “California Cool” with style essentials no California girl can live without. As an LA native I have the luxury of the effortless chic style that comes with constant sunshine. Us Cali girls are surprisingly polished and it never feels like we have to try too hard to create a great outfit. I wanted to bring this carefree cool to your wardrobe.
